Ingredients:
1 packet of dry brewer’s yeast
1 tbsp of sugar
200 ml of hot milk
200 ml of lukewarm water
50 ml of sunflower seeds oil
100 g of margarine or butter
1 egg
2 tbsp of vinegar
1 kg of flour
1 cup of honey + 1 cup of water
Sesame seeds for decoration
Directions:
1. Mix yeast, sugar, milk and water in a large bowl.
2. Then add oil, melted margarine/butter, egg and vinegar too.
3. Lastly stir in flour and salt.
4. Knead for 5-7 minutes, until you get a smooth and soft dough.
5. Cover with some plastic wrap and let rise in warm place for 1 hour.
6. Knead for 1 more minute, then cut in pieces about 90 g each.
7. Shape into long stripes and braid them, then close into a donut shape.
8. Brush their surface with honey and water mixture, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
9. Bake in a pre-heated oven for about 40 minutes.
