Homemade “Mole” (Drain Cleaner) for Unclog Pipes 🛁💧
This drain cleaner works through a chemical reaction that releases carbon dioxide and mechanically loosens blockages, while baking soda and vinegar dissolve grease and soap scum.

Safety Warning: Never mix vinegar or other acids with commercial drain cleaners that contain bleach or other chemicals. This can release dangerous fumes!

Materials:

½ cup baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)
½ cup white vinegar (household white vinegar)
A pot of hot water (about 1-2 liters, almost boiling)
Instructions:

Preparation: First, pour the baking soda directly into the clogged drain. Try to get as much as possible directly into the drain.

Start the Reaction: Then slowly pour the vinegar in after it. It will immediately start fizzing and hissing – that’s the chemical reaction! Quickly plug the drain so the reaction takes place inside the pipe and doesn’t escape into the air.

Let it work: Let the mixture work for at least 30 minutes up to an hour. For very stubborn clogs, you can even leave it overnight.

Flush: Afterward, pour hot (not boiling, to avoid damaging the pipes, but very warm) water down the drain to flush away the loosened deposits.

Tip: Repeat the process if necessary. This method is most effective for clogs caused by hair, grease, and soap scum.

Cleaning Mixture that Removes Limescale (All-Purpose Cleaner with Limescale Dissolving Power) ✨🍋
This mixture uses the acidity of vinegar or citric acid to effectively dissolve limescale and the cleaning power of dish soap.

Materials:

1 cup white vinegar or 2 tablespoons citric acid powder dissolved in 1 cup hot water
½ cup water (if using vinegar)
1 teaspoon dish soap
Spray bottle
Microfiber cloth or sponge

Instructions:

Mix: Pour the vinegar (or dissolved citric acid) and water into the spray bottle. Then add the dish soap.

Shake: Close the spray bottle and shake gently to mix the ingredients. Do not shake too vigorously, or the dish soap will foam excessively.

Application:

For limescale: Spray the mixture liberally onto limescale-covered surfaces (e.g., faucets, tiles, shower walls). Let it sit for 5-15 minutes, depending on the severity of the limescale buildup. For stubborn limescale, you can let it sit longer or use a brush.

As an all-purpose cleaner: For general dirt, simply spray and wipe immediately.

Wipe: Wipe the surface with a clean microfiber cloth or sponge. Rinse with clean water if necessary and dry the surface to achieve a shine.

Tip: For very stubborn limescale deposits, you can also place a cloth soaked in pure vinegar on the affected area and leave it overnight. Be careful with acid-sensitive surfaces such as natural stone (marble, granite), as acid can damage them.
