Moles are one of the pests on the beds. They also eat earthworms. It cleans the beds of cabbage, fly larvae and roaches.

It is harmful because, while searching for food, it digs holes and beds can collapse. Gardeners have been fighting this pest for a very long time. We have many options for dealing with moles, and some measures will allow you to remove them from your garden.

Control measures:

• They find food using hearing and smell. Do not tolerate strong aromas, ground vibrations and loud noise. This should be taken into account when removing them from the bed.
• They do not like the smell of the roots of such plants as onions, garlic, castor, marigolds, grouse and daffodils. But some moles can simply bypass such plantings.
• They will leave the bed if eggshells, onions or stale fish appear in the mole’s movements.
• Moles do not tolerate essential oils of pine, lavender, castor and gall turpentine. With these mixtures, you can soak the fabric and put it in the paths where you have just dug the beds. Fill and compact the holes.
• Moles do not tolerate gasoline or gas, these mixtures must be poured into the hole and the holes closed.
• Moles are scared away from a tin can. Put the jar on the iron rod and dig it into the ground. When the wind blows, the can will start making sounds that the mole will hear and be scared of. If the ground is dense and clayey, this option of struggle is not suitable. But you can attach another can from below to enhance the effect.
• You can remove the mole with the help of an alarm clock. Buy cheap alarm clocks, set different times between them, put them in a long pipe. At the bottom of the pipe, make holes and dig into the ground to a depth of 0.5 m. Alarm clocks can be protected with glass jars that you place in the pipe. Cover the top with a plastic bottle. The sounds of alarm clocks will scare away moles.
