I don’t buy marshmallows at the store anymore! According to this recipe, it is incredibly tasty, airy and simply melts in your mouth. 20 minutes – and you have a mountain of marshmallows on your table.

“Homemade” marshmallow. The children will thank you!

You can make your own marshmallows and it’s very easy.

If you fantasize with fruit and aromatic ingredients, the prepared marshmallow will turn out to be many times tastier and more fragile than from the store.

Warehouses

4 cups of sugar;

2 Art. l. gelatin (20 g)

1 teaspoon of citric acid;

0.5 h. l.

Recipe

We soak the gelatin in advance (2 tablespoons per 100 ml of water).

Pour sugar into a saucepan, pour a glass of cold water and put on medium heat, do not forget to stir.

After 3 minutes of boiling, drain and add the prepared gelatin, remove the pan and mix everything thoroughly until the gelatin is completely dissolved.

Allow the liquid to cool slightly, but only slightly, and whisk while still hot.

Beat with a mixer for 5 minutes at medium speed, take a 5-minute break and beat again for exactly 5 minutes.

Add citric acid and soda.

Beat again, but with a hand whisk for 10 minutes. Let the mixture stand for 20 minutes.

The mass of the marshmallow will double, so there will be a lot of marshmallows.

Trays and cutting boards must be plastic.

Put the mass on the boards, which must be moistened with water so that the marshmallow does not stick.

When the cakes harden, carefully remove them with a thin knife and glue them in pairs. Marshmallow is ready!

Bon appetit!
