Ingredients:
– For the cake batter:
150 g of butter
150 g of granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 packet of vanilla sugar
100 g of almond flour
180 g of flour
11 g of baking powder
2 pinches of salt
Half a lemon juice (optional)
– For decoration:
50 g of almonds
50 g of pecans
1 tsp of cinnamon
2 tbsp of brown sugar
3 tbsp of melted butter
2 ripe pears
Directions:
1. Mix butter with vanilla sugar and granulated sugar until you get a creamy mixture.
2. Stir in lemon juice, eggs one at a time and almond flour.
3. Then add baking powder and flour a little bit at a time, too.
4. Slice pears and finely chop almonds and pecans.
5. Cover the bottom of a cake mold with baking paper, then sprinkle brown sugar on top.
6. Make an even layers with nuts, sprinkle with cinnamon and place pear slices. Lastly add melted butter, too.
7. Now pour the cake batter on top and flatten using a spatula.
8. Bake at 180° for about 45 minutes.
9. Let cool, de-mold and decorate as you like.
