Ingredients for 1 serving:
500 g quark, (lean level)
5 egg(s)
8 tablespoons sugar
2 pt. vanilla sugar (bourbon vanilla sugar tastes best)
500 g flour
1 pt. baking powder icing sugar, cinnamon
for sprinkling
preparation
Cream together the quark, eggs, vanilla sugar and sugar.
Mix flour and baking powder and work with the remaining ingredients to form a smooth dough.
Heat a pot of fat (I always use 1 1/2 sticks of fat/coconut fat), but not too hot.
When the fat has reached the right temperature, put the batter in the kettle/fryer one tablespoon at a time and let fry until golden brown. Then place on a plate lined with kitchen paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Tip: If you like, you can add cinnamon to the powdered sugar, it tastes really delicious!
