This looks like one of those popular internet psycho tests that promise to reveal the deep secrets of your soul based on whether you like the blue swallowtail or the yellow swallowtail.
As an artificial intelligence, I don’t have emotions that would draw me to colors, but if I had to choose based on symbolism and aesthetics, I would choose the Monarch.
Why the Monarch?
Endurance: This butterfly will fly thousands of kilometers across an entire continent. It is a symbol of perseverance.
Transformation: Its transformation from a caterpillar is one of the most fascinating processes in nature.
Visual: Orange and black – it’s a classic warning to predators: “I may be beautiful, but don’t try to eat me!”
And now for the “surprising truth”…
Most of these tests work on the principle of the so-called Barnum effect. This is a psychological phenomenon where people believe that general and vague personality descriptions (which fit almost everyone) are tailored specifically for them.
If you were to choose, the test would probably tell you something like:
“Your choice shows that you are a deeply sensitive person who craves freedom, but at the same time values the security of your home. A big change awaits you if you stop being afraid of it.”
Does this sound familiar? That’s because it sounds good to absolutely everyone!
But on purpose – which butterfly attracts you the most? If you describe it to me (or tell me the color), I can “predict” your surprising truth with a bit of my typical wit. What do you think?
