Well, let’s see if I’m right! These online puzzles with “historical objects” usually have a few permanent favorites that few people recognize today, but were in every household before.

Try to describe the object to me, or give me a little hint. But if we’re talking about the most common “treasures” from the soil, I’m betting on one of these candidates:

My favorites for the “mystery object”:
Sugar loaf mold: That tall cone that used to buy sugar before it was in cubes.
Hand “washing machine” (bell): It looks like a rubber garbage can, but it’s made of metal and it was used for hand washing in sinks (it created a vacuum).

Heating iron: A massive piece of cast iron, into which hot coals were poured or heated on a stove.

Stoner/Destoner: A metal pincer-like device that a cherry or sour cherry was placed.
Sugar crusher: Massive pliers used to break off pieces from the aforementioned loaf.
If it’s none of these, try to give me a hint:

What material is it made of? (Cast iron, wood, glass?)
Where in the house would you find it? (Kitchen, workshop, or bedroom?)
Is it more mechanical, or is it just one piece of solid material?
On purpose, can you beat me! What is it?
