So this is a classic of Internet optical illusions! These images are based on the fact that our brains automatically look for familiar shapes (so-called pareidolia), but the cat masterfully disguises itself in them using the texture of wood, a pile of wood or a rugged landscape.

It is usually one of these three legendary images:

A pile of chopped wood: The cat (often rusty or white) is simply sleeping there and blending in with the color of the logs.
Tall grass or rock: Where you only see gray stones until you “focus” on your ears.
A kitchen or room full of junk: Where the cat peeks out from behind a pot or blends in with the black carpet.
Here are some tips for finding it (if you can’t see it):

Look for eyes or ears: These are the only geometric shapes that nature (or clutter) can’t perfectly replicate.

Change your perspective: Try looking at the screen from a little further away or squinting. The animal’s outline will often “pop” out of the background.

Focus on details: It’s often not the whole cat, but just a paw or tail peeking out from an unexpected place.
On purpose – where is it hiding in your picture? Is it the one in the wood, or a completely new one? Describe what you see around you, and I’ll tell you if it’s “burning”!
