🍲 A traditional grandmother’s recipe that’s still delicious years later
My grandmother cooked this dish when I was little and it’s still a great classic that everyone in the family will love. It’s simple, hearty and full of flavors that remind you of home and the warmth of a family kitchen.
🥣 Ingredients:
500 g chicken or beef
2 large onions
3-4 cloves of garlic
2-3 carrots
2 tablespoons of oil or lard
2-3 tablespoons of tomato puree
1 liter of broth or water
Salt, pepper, favorite herbs (marjoram, thyme)
Serve: potatoes, rice or pasta

1️⃣ Preparing meat and vegetables
Cut the meat into smaller pieces.
Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
Cut the carrots into rings or cubes.
2️⃣ Frying and cooking
Heat the oil or lard in a pan.
Fry the onion until golden brown, add the garlic and fry briefly.
Add the meat and brown on all sides until browned.
Add the carrots and tomato puree, stir to combine.
Pour in the broth, season with salt and pepper, and add the herbs.
Cover and simmer over low heat for 45-60 minutes until the meat is tender and the juices have thickened.
3️⃣ Finish and serve
Serve with your favorite side dish – boiled potatoes, rice, or pasta.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley for flavor and appearance.
