Spicy peppers marinated in honey sauce are a delicious way to take summer vegetables for winter. The combination of peppers, honey sweets and garlic and intense aroma of spices are simply irresistible. This recipe works without cooking and sterilization so it can be made quickly and easily.
Ingredients
500 g of tiny spicy peppers (red, yellow or mixed)
250 ml of olive oil
100 ml of apple cider vinegar
3 cloves of garlic cut into thin slices
2 tablespoons of honey
1 teaspoon of salt
Fresh herbs to taste (eg oregano, thyme or rosemary)
Preparation
Preparation: Wash the peppers thoroughly and dry them. Remove the stems and cut the peppers into rings or leave whole. Peel the garlic and cut it into thin slices.
Mixing sauce: In a large bowl, mix the olive oil, apple vinegar, honey and salt until the honey is completely dissolved.
Add the peppers: Put the paprika rings and garlic slices in the bowl and mix well until the peppers are evenly diverted with the sauce. Add the fresh herbs.
Filling in glass: Fill the dose to clean, sterile jars. Be careful not to stay air bubbles in the glass. The easiest way to do this is to press the peppers carefully.
Pour: Pour the remaining sauce on the peppers until they are completely immersed. The high content of oil and vinegar has a preservative and helps peppers stay permanent.
Storage: Close the glass tightly and store them in a cool, dark place. The peppers come together in about a week and can be consumed. They can be lasted for several months.
Important Note: Although this recipe does not require sterilization, it is very important that the glasses and all the tools used are absolutely clean. It is best to wash the bottles in a dishwasher or cook in boiling water to destroy the germs and ensure durability.
