Tincture of black currant, which will work even for a beginner. The taste and aroma are simply incomparable

Hi to all! Today I want to share with you a super delicious recipe that has been passed down in our family from generation to generation, even from my great-grandmothers, and we prepare it to this day without changing the recipe! Now is the season of fruits and berries, so this recipe will come in handy, it is incredibly tasty and fragrant.

Blackcurrant tincture recipe

List of ingredients we need:

  • Blackberry
  • alcohol 96%
  • sugar
  • water

Recipe:

  1. In the calculation of a 3-liter jar, fill it with washed black currants (more than half of the jar) and pour 1400 ml of 96% alcohol (vodka is made from it). Pour in so that all the berries are covered, close the jar with a capron lid, put it in a dark place for 1 month.
  2. Next, we take out the jar, pour the alcohol into a separate dish, put the berries in a saucepan and add 1700 ml of purified bottled water to them, put on fire and bring to a boil (the berries should burst).
  3. Then carefully filter, we only need the juice, discard the berries. Add 250 g of sugar to the resulting juice, mix everything carefully and cool.
  4. Next, we mix this resulting juice and alcohol back into the 3-liter jar, it  is very important that the alcohol should be poured into the juice in a very thin stream.
  5. Close the jar with a kapron lid and put it away again for 1 month.
  6. After a month, take it out and pour it into bottles, filtering through a thick layer of cheesecloth.
  7. Our fragrant and very tasty 40-degree tincture is ready to use, the aroma and taste are indescribable.

You can store the tincture both in a cool place and at room temperature.

We make different tinctures: blackcurrant, redcurrant and raspberry and cranberry, cherry tinctures. Of course, I like blackcurrant tincture more, it is very aromatic, rich in color and very, very tasty!

Cook for pleasure and deliciousness for you!
