{"id":923,"date":"2023-04-10T00:57:19","date_gmt":"2023-04-09T21:57:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tastyfood.top\/?p=923"},"modified":"2023-04-10T00:57:19","modified_gmt":"2023-04-09T21:57:19","slug":"here-is-a-recipe-for-homemade-cows-cheese","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tastyfood.top\/?p=923","title":{"rendered":"Here is a recipe for homemade cow\u2019s cheese"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ingredients:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>4 liters of cow\u2019s milk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 cup of yogurt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 cup of heavy cream<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp of salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instructions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pour the milk into a large pot and heat it over medium heat until it reaches a temperature of 85-90\u00b0C.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove the pot from the heat and add the yogurt and heavy cream. Stir well and cover the pot with a lid. Let it sit undisturbed for about 2-3 hours, until the milk has thickened and separated into curds and whey.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Line a colander with cheesecloth and place it over a bowl to catch the whey. Carefully pour the curds and whey into the cheesecloth-lined colander, allowing the whey to drain off and leaving just the curds behind.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gather the corners of the cheesecloth and gently squeeze out any excess whey.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transfer the curds to a mixing bowl and add the salt. Mix well with a wooden spoon or your hands, breaking up any large curds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press the cheese into a mold or form it into a ball or log. Wrap it tightly in cheesecloth and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until ready to use.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Homemade fresh cow\u2019s cheese can be used in a variety of dishes or enjoyed on its own with bread, crackers and fruit.
