Heat the clarified butter, briefly saut\u00e9 the red cabbage in it. Add a dash of raspberry vinegar and pour in some vegetable stock. Spike the onion with the cloves and add to the red cabbage with the bay leaves. Let the whole thing simmer for about 1 hour. Stir again and again. Remove the onion and bay leaves just before the end of the cooking time. Stir in the apple sauce and season with salt, pepper and sugar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Today we had red cabbage with meatballs and boiled potatoes.
