With only a few ingredients, you can make crispy, meaty, and cheesy Meat Rolls, with all the meat flavor. You can use cubed steak for a cheaper alternative, or any cheaper cut of meat. The Meat Rolls are easy to make ahead of time. It will remind you of a combination between Beef Cordon Bleu and Chicken Fried Steak\u2014rolled up, meaty and crispy, filled with the right amount of cheese. It\u2019s the perfect dish to make to impress your guests!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recipe Notes and Tips<br>\u2013 Top make these ahead: roll up the meat (uncooked), wrap them in plastic wrap and place the refrigerator. Then when you\u2019re ready to serve, you can bread and fry them. They can also be frozen in this way. Thaw in the refrigerator. Allow to thaw completely before frying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 This recipe works great with sirloin flap. For a cheaper option, choose cubed steak. You can use any other cheaper cut of meat, just make sure to flatten and tenderize it properly with a meal mallet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 You can add different fillings to these Meat Rolls. When using spinach, make sure to cook, drain, and finely chop the spinach before using. Try and of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cooked onion red pepper strips<br>Caramelized onions with cheese<br>Cooked spinach and feta<br>Spinach, cream cheese, and pine nuts<br>Bacon, chopped and cooked, or fried strips.<br>\u2013 Serve these Meat Rolls with any tasty sauce for dipping: creamy cheese sauce, peppercorn sauce, a spicy tomato sauce, or a rich gravy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Sides that work well with these Meat Rolls are fries or roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, potato salad, green beans, or steamed broccoli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 You can also bake these Meat Rolls.
