Will it be one of these classics, or does your grandma have a special trick up her sleeve?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Commonly used tricks from the past:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Salt and paper: Iron a layer of salt onto baking paper (ideal for burns).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vinegar: Clean the steam vents or wipe the surface with a cloth soaked in vinegar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Toothpaste: Gently polish the surface (with non-abrasive toothpaste, of course).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Paracetamol: Rub a tablet into a hot iron (a trick that looks like magic, but it works).
