The most effective fertilizer

This gardening recipe is an absolute classic among hobby gardeners. If you are looking for a universal, highly effective and completely natural fertilizer that simultaneously supports the growth of garlic, tomatoes and cucumbers, yeast nectar (yeast fertilizer) is the answer.

Yeast contains a large amount of B vitamins, minerals and, above all, active organisms that initiate organic processes in the soil, support root growth and accelerate nutrient uptake.

📝 Recipe for the most effective homemade yeast fertilizer
Preparation takes only a few minutes and costs only a few crowns.

What you will need:

1 cube of fresh yeast (42 g) or 2 packets of dry yeast

1 tablespoon of sugar (to start fermentation)

1 liter of warm water (not hot, so that the yeast does not die)

Preparation:

Crush the yeast in warm water, add sugar and mix well. Let the mixture ferment for 2 hours (ideally in a warm place).

Dilution: Dilute the finished concentrate in 5 liters of clean, stale water.

🍅 How to use it correctly?

Each of these three types of plants responds excellently to yeast fertilizer, but for slightly different reasons:

Cucumbers: They love watering through the leaves and roots. Yeast strengthens them for the formation of new shoots and, above all, prevents yellowing of the leaves. Water them with this solution every 10 to 14 days.

Tomatoes: Fertilize directly at the roots (approx. 0.5 liters per plant). The tomatoes will then develop a strong stem and dark green leaves. This also promotes abundant flowering and leads to sweeter fruits.

Garlic: This fertilization is sufficient for garlic two to three times during the season (ideally in spring and early summer). It helps it form a large underground bulb and protects it from mold.

💡 Important tip for gardeners: Yeast consumes potassium and calcium from the soil during its activity. To prevent their depletion, occasionally add a little wood ash to the soil (a handful per plant is enough). This will quickly replenish these minerals.

Have you tried this yeast trick, or are you addicted to another miracle cure like nettle tea?

This gardening recipe is an absolute classic among hobby gardeners.
