These online puzzles with &#8220;historical objects&#8221; usually have a few permanent favorites that few people recognize today, but were in every household before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Try to describe the object to me, or give me a little hint. But if we&#8217;re talking about the most common &#8220;treasures&#8221; from the soil, I&#8217;m betting on one of these candidates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My favorites for the &#8220;mystery object&#8221;:<br>Sugar loaf mold: That tall cone that used to buy sugar before it was in cubes.<br>Hand &#8220;washing machine&#8221; (bell): It looks like a rubber garbage can, but it&#8217;s made of metal and it was used for hand washing in sinks (it created a vacuum).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heating iron: A massive piece of cast iron, into which hot coals were poured or heated on a stove.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stoner\/Destoner: A metal pincer-like device that a cherry or sour cherry was placed.<br>Sugar crusher: Massive pliers used to break off pieces from the aforementioned loaf.<br>If it&#8217;s none of these, try to give me a hint:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What material is it made of? (Cast iron, wood, glass?)<br>Where in the house would you find it? (Kitchen, workshop, or bedroom?)<br>Is it more mechanical, or is it just one piece of solid material?<br>On purpose, can you beat me!
