One classic, loved by many for its simplicity and rich flavor, is the Chocolate Pudding Bar, or sometimes known as the \u201cCreamy Cocoa Cookie\u201d version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is a recipe for a popular, creamy, festive chocolate bar:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Creamy Cocoa Chocolate Bar \u2013 Homemade Festive Dessert<br>Ingredients<br>For the Cocoa Sponge Cake (Dough):<br>Eggs: 4 pcs<br>Sugar: 4 tablespoons (approx. 80 g)<br>Hot water: 4 tablespoons<br>Flour: 4 tablespoons (approx. 80 g)<br>Cocoa powder (unsweetened): 2 tablespoons<br><br>Baking powder: 1 heaped teaspoon<br>Pinch of salt<br>For the Chocolate Cream:<br>Milk: 5 dl<br>Sugar: 10 dkg<br>Vanilla sugar: 1 package (or vanilla flavor)<br>Flour: 2 tablespoons<br>Cornstarch (or pudding powder): 2 tablespoons<br>Butter\/Margarine: 20 dkg (room temperature)<br>Dark chocolate: 10 dkg (at least 50%)<br>For the Chocolate Glaze:<br>Dark chocolate (cake coating): 10 dkg<br>Oil or Butter: 1 tablespoon<br>Preparation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare the Sponge Cake:<br>Preparation: Preheat the oven to 180 \u00b0C. Line a baking sheet measuring approx. 20\u00d730 cm with baking paper.<br>Egg foam: Separate the eggs. Beat the whites with a pinch of salt until stiff.<br>Mixing: Mix the egg yolks with the sugar until foamy, then add the hot water a spoonful at a time until you get a light, foamy mixture.<br>Dry ingredients: Sift together the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder in a separate bowl.<br>Assembly: In two or three parts, carefully fold in the dry ingredients with a hand whisk or wooden spoon, then finally the stiff peaks of the egg whites.<br>Baking: Pour the batter into the pan and bake at 180 \u00b0C for approx. 15-20 minutes (pin test!). Leave to cool completely.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preparing the Chocolate Cream:<br>Basic cooking: Take 1 dl of milk, mix the flour, starch and vanilla sugar in it until lump-free.<br>Pudding: Boil the remaining milk with the sugar. Pour in the lump-free mixture and cook, stirring continuously, until it becomes a thick pudding. Remove from the heat.<br>Chocolate: Break the 10 dkg of dark chocolate into the hot pudding and stir until it melts completely.<br>Cooling: Cover the cream with cling film (so that the film is in direct contact with the surface of the cream to prevent a skin) and leave to cool completely.<br>Adding butter: Mix the cooled cream with a whisk, then add the room-temperature butter\/margarine and beat until fluffy and light.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assembly and Glaze:<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br>Creating: Cut the cooled sponge cake in half (or spread the cream all over it if it is tall enough). Spread evenly with the rich chocolate cream.<br>Glaze: Melt the cake coating and oil\/butter over steam or in the microwave on low heat and mix until smooth. Pour over the top of the cake and spread evenly.<br>Refrigerate: Place the cake in the refrigerator for at least 4-5 hours, but it is best to leave it overnight so that the cream can set and the sponge cake can absorb the creamy flavors.<br>Slicing: Cut the cake into slices with a knife dipped in hot water and wiped dry.<br>Tip: For a festive version, you can decorate the slices with grated chocolate, hazelnuts, or fresh fruit (e.g. raspberries or strawberries) when serving.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are indeed many delicious, traditional Hungarian chocolate bars that are perfect for the holiday table.
