Egg-free, dairy-free, yet beautifully fluffy, delicately soft and with a strong cocoa flavor.<br>It\u2019s one of those recipes that you can make at the last minute \u2013 mix quickly, bake and your home will smell of chocolate in no time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What you will need (20\u00d730 cm dough)<br>300 g plain flour<br>200 g sugar<br>3 tablespoons high-quality cocoa<br>1 packet baking powder (10 g)<br>1 teaspoon baking soda<br>250 ml sparkling mineral water<br>100 ml oil (sunflower or coconut)<br>1 tablespoon vinegar (reacts with soda and makes the dough puff up nicely)<br>1 teaspoon vanilla or rum flavoring<br><br>A pinch of salt<br>Optional ingredients<br>50 g chopped nuts, raisins or seeds<br>Chocolate chips suitable for a fasting\/vegan diet<br>Icing sugar or a simple chocolate glaze for the end<br>Preparation process<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Combine dry ingredients<br>Sieve flour into a large bowl, add sugar, cocoa, baking powder, soda and salt.<br>Mix everything together to combine the ingredients evenly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liquid part<br>In a second bowl, mix the mineral water, oil, vinegar and flavouring.<br>The sparkling water will make the dough beautifully airy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Connection<br>Pour the liquid mixture into the dry and mix gently with a whisk or spatula.<br>Don\u2019t mix for too long \u2013 just enough to combine the ingredients.
