This homemade drink perfectly warms the heart on cold winter evenings, and is also an excellent gift. Christmas liqueurs are typically creamy (milk, cream-based) or spicy (fruit, spice, rum, vodka-based).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since it is not specified, I will present the recipe for the most popular, creamy Christmas liqueur, which is basically an egg liqueur (Advocaat\/Eggnog) mixed with winter spices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83e\udd42 Christmas Cream Liqueur (Spiced Eggnog)<br>This is a creamy, sweet liqueur, in which Christmas spices dominate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udcdd Ingredients<br>Quantity Ingredient Note<br>5 pcs Egg Yolks<br>200 g Powdered Sugar<br>1 package Vanilla Sugar Or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.<br>5 dl Milk (whole milk) Or a mixture of cream and milk for creaminess.<br>2 dl Cream (30%)<br>2.5-3 dl Alcohol E.g. vodka, white rum or fine spirits.<br>1-2 teaspoons Ground cinnamon<br>1\/2 teaspoon Ground nutmeg<br>1\/4 teaspoon Ground cloves<br>\ud83d\udd2a Preparation (By cooking \u2013 Safer)<br>The cream base: Beat the egg yolks with the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar in a bowl until they turn white.<br><br>Adding milk: Heat the milk and cream in a separate bowl (do not boil!). Gradually pour it into the egg mixture in a thin stream, while stirring constantly.<br>Thickening (Over Steam): The milk-egg mixture is thickened at low temperature or over water vapor (steam bath).<br>Important: Stir continuously until the mass thickens slightly and reaches 70-80 \u00b0C (at this time the egg is pasteurized), but do not boil it, because it will precipitate!<br>Seasoning and Cooling: Remove from heat, stir in cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Let cool completely (at room temperature, then in the refrigerator).<br><br>Adding alcohol: When the cream is completely cold, gradually add the alcohol of choice (vodka\/rum), stirring continuously. Adjust the amount to taste.<br>Storage: Pour into sterilized jars and store in the refrigerator.
