{"id":1458,"date":"2023-06-17T19:32:04","date_gmt":"2023-06-17T16:32:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tastyfood.top\/?p=1458"},"modified":"2023-06-17T19:32:05","modified_gmt":"2023-06-17T16:32:05","slug":"curry-mac-and-cheese-recipe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tastyfood.top\/?p=1458","title":{"rendered":"Curry Mac and Cheese Recipe"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">INGREDIENTS FOR\u00a0\u00a08\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0YIELDS\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>5 tablespoons (75g) Butter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 onion, chopped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4-5 Garlic cloves, crushed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tablespoon Ginger, grated<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 Tablespoons (30g) Flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tablespoon Garam masala<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 teaspoon Curry powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 teaspoon Paprika<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 cups (1L) Coconut milk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt to taste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pepper to taste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7oz (200g) Cheddar cheese<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>7oz (200g) Mozzarella cheese<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>14oz 400g Pasta<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DIRECTIONS\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Preheat oven to 350F (180C).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grate the cheeses and combine then in a large bowl. set aside.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To a large pot of water and 1 tablespoon of salt and bring to a boil. Add the pasta and cook to al dente (1-2 minutes less then package instructions).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>While the pasta is cooking make the sauce: In a large pot, melt 4 tablespoons (60g) of butter add chopped onion saut\u00e9 over medium-low heat until golden, about 6-7 minutes, add crushed garlic and grated ginger. Cook for 1 minute. Add garam masala, curry powder and paprika, cook for 1 minute. Melt another tablespoon (15g) of butter and add flour, cook, stirring constantly until smooth paste forms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gradually, while constantly whisking, pour the coconut milk. Whisk until smooth. Cook until slightly thickens, about 5-6 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add 3\/4 of the cheese mixture and whisk until melted and combined.
