Bring to a boil.<br>Boil for 15-20 minutes: Let the rice simmer over medium-high heat for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until the water is very white and milky, and the rice is cooked. The goal is to obtain a concentrated, thick rice water.<br>Strain the rice water: Carefully strain the cooked rice (you can use it for another meal!) and reserve only the milky rice water that drains out.
